Resumen

Sobre este producto

The overlay is the first layer of interaction between the user and the equipment. It needs to combine legibility, resistance to intensive use, sealing against the environment and compatibility with the underlying electronics.

We work with polyester, polycarbonate and aluminium for decorative or functional front panels, with multicolour UVI printing on the back face (second surface) or front face as required. When it is a membrane keypad, we integrate the flexible circuit and tactile characterisation.

Selección de soportes según durabilidad, acabado y compatibilidad química requerida.

  • Technical polyester (PET)

    A common material for membrane keypads. Good mechanical durability, flexible, printable.

  • Polycarbonate (PC)

    Greater rigidity and impact resistance. Suitable for decorative and functional overlays.

  • Aluminium

    Decorative or structural overlays with a premium anodised finish.

Procesos

Procesos de fabricación

Combinamos procesos internos especializados con técnicas externalizadas bajo nuestra especificación.

  1. Second-surface UVI printing

    On polyester or transparent polycarbonate: the image is protected by the substrate film itself.

  2. Embossing and tactile characterisation

    For keys with defined tactile feedback on membrane keypads, by controlled embossing.

  3. Flexible circuit integration

    When it is a functional membrane keypad, with a metal dome or polydome and a ZIF connector.

  4. Special technical adhesives

    Selection of the fixing adhesive according to the target surface and conditions (temperature, humidity, vibration).
