Scope

What our traceability includes

Records retained from the material batch through to the final project archive.

  • Material batch and supplier of the aluminium or substrate
  • Process parameters for every production step (anodising, photo-anodising, laser, UVI)
  • Dimensional control and inspection records
  • Individual identification of the series with P/N and S/N where applicable
  • Signed conformity documentation at order close-out
  • Archive retained to sector requirements for the full service life of the component

Why it matters

Traceability is part of the product

In regulated sectors, traceability is not an added extra: it is part of the product. A plate without documentation is a plate that cannot be installed on an aircraft, on a CE-marked machine or on a renewables asset subject to audit. The difference between a generic supplier and a certified supplier is measured in the documentation that travels with every batch.

AMBAR ITC has worked from the outset with the documentary discipline of the aerospace sector. We apply that same discipline to general industrial clients, because we understand that any future audit by the end customer may require traceability of the smallest of components.
