In renewable energy, a component's identification must survive intact for as long as the asset. We are talking about 25–30 years of exposure to UV, humidity, extreme thermal cycles and sometimes a saline environment. A plate that fades after 5 years forces costly re-identification operations or documentary withdrawal of the asset.
We work with manufacturers and operators in photovoltaic farms, onshore and offshore wind turbines, BESS storage systems and electrical substations. Photo-anodising on aluminium is our preferred technique for this durability profile: the information is integrated into the anodic layer itself and is not erased by abrasion or UV.
